Nikon has launched the all new Nikon Coolpix S3000 to change the way people looked at the entire experience of clicking pictures. It is an all new avatar with its slim and stylish look and efficient and handy features. It comes in five very attractive and bright colors.

How Slim Is It ?

Nikon Coolpix S3000 measures only 19 mm in thickness and can easily adorn your pocket without giving it a bulge. Its sleek design and light weight gives you the freedom to carry it where ever you go without missing on the opportunity to capture some of your life’s best moments. It weighs a mere 116 gms and is almost feather weight for a camera packed with such good features.

The Lens

Nikon Coolpix S3000 has a lens of the capacity of 4 times the zoom or a 4X optical zoom Nikkor glass lens which makes it a cake walk for you to focus on something which is far away. It is accompanied with several features like motion detection which can adjust the shutter speed in accordance with the object that is being shot.

Smart Portrait System

Nikon Coolpix S3000 comes equipped with the new and developed smart portrait system technology which has features like smile detection that can identify objects with the smile and can click accordingly. It also has blink proof feature that ensures that none of the pictures are taken with eyes shut. With the help of this technology if two pictures are taken the camera automatically saves the one without a closed eye. The camera comes with red eye removal technology and can clear the image of the red eye in the camera itself.

The scene auto adjuster adjusts to the surrounding environment and then adjusts the camera setting to suit the need. It automatically takes up to 10 shots while the shutter is pressed and saves the sharpest image. D-Lighting option rescues dark images by enhancing brightness at the time of playback.

Nikon Coolpix S3000 Internal Memory And Battery Life

Nikon Coolpix S3000 comes with a EN-EL 10 battery and it has the capacity to take upto two hundred and twenty shots before exhausting the full battery. The Lithium ion battery has to be charged for upto 4 hours to recharge it completely. It comes with a 12 mega pixel camera that enhances the picture quality. The camera has internal memory of 47 MB and provision is made for SD card for the external memory.

Other Features Of Nikon Coolpix S3000

Nikon Coolpix S3000 has an in built flash and comes with a display which is a 2.7 inch LCD display with an anti reflective coat. It helps you take pictures even in the sunlight. High ISO up to 3200 capability produces sharper results when shooting in low lights or capturing fast moving articles.  The maximum image size that the product supports is 4000X3000.

The camera has a USB for transferring of data conveniently. Battery charger and an AC adapter EH- 62 D is supplied with the camera.
