Toshiba has unveiled it’s brand-new Satellite T215 laptop, a counterpart of the T210

But T215 bears the looks of the NB series and sports an AMD processor with a superb ATI graphics card.The Satellite T215 has been crafted taking into account the increasing popularity of AMD netbook chips.

The ultra-thin AMD neo II processor 2010 edition, is the key feature of Toshiba Satellite T215, which had a Core i3 or a Core i5 processor in its predecessor T210.  In addition, the functionality of Toshiba T215 will be enhanced by ATI Radeon HD4225. The T215 will be available in single core and dual-core processors.

Also, the T215 sports a 1366 x 768 p display panel, and a 11.6 inches wide screen. This allows users to watch widescreen videos with clarity & detail. Besides, the display has an aspect ratio of 16:9. So, watching HD & 3D videos on T215 will be extremely fun-filled and entertaining.

Additionally, the T215 features a whitish keyboard area. The keyboard is in chiclet style and comes with a textured trackpad that again has below it two mouse buttons.

Toshiba T215 also boasts of an HDMI port, Ethernet and audio jacks. With the integrated webcam, users can enjoy trouble-free and crystal-clear video conferencing and chat. Plus, it has superb connectivity options with 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and WiMAX. The device also comes with 2GB RAM and a hard disk space of 320GB. Its built-in 6-cell battery can run up to 5 hours. Toshiba T215 is also loaded with the premium 32-bit edition of Windows 7 Home.

Weighing just 1.5kg, the T215 has a dimension of 284 x 202.8 x 16.6 mm. It is expected to hit the market in three colors – elegant Black, fiery Red and classy White. With a matte silver finish & the touchpad surrounded by Chrome trim, the Toshiba T215 will suit the personality of the style seekers.

Toshiba T215 is available to purchase in the US markets from 20 June, 2010. The single-core model can be bought at a price of $469, while for dual-core model; you will have to pay $499.
