This recent launch comes with a wireless keyboard and a Magic Mouse. The mouse has a multi-touch surface and can be used for swiping as well as clicking. The back panel has a brushed aluminium look and has audio in/out jacks, four USB 2.0 ports, the Mini DisplayPort (in/out), a Gigabit Ethernet port and a FireWire 800 port.

The built-in screen has a 2560 by 14440 pixel resolution and offers great picture quality and clarity, highly recommended for those working in visual media.  The side of the new IMac comes with a slot loaded DVD player as well as a card reader that only supports SD cards, one on Apple’s many quirks. Another omission made in this personal computer is of the eSATA port, something that many users wishing to transfer large amounts of data may find hard to deal with.

The IMac (core i7) comes with an internal hard disk of 1 TB, extendable up to 2TB, and 4 GB RAM, extendable up to 16GB.
