Telstra has announced the availability of a brand-new home phone, dubbed as the T-Hub. The all-new phone functions quite similar to a mobile phone by integrating attributes like information, telephony and entertainment.

The T-Hub comes built-in with an enormous-sized 18cm homescreen, which allows users to receive or make calls, view internet sites, messaging, play radio stations and music, put family activities in order as well as shows the hottest news regarding weather and sports.

What users have to do is just hook the T-Hub phone to an average home telephone socket that connects to a BigPond broadband service reached by a home Wi-Fi modem.

Telstra Chief Marketing Officer, Ms Kate McKenzie, was quoted to have said that the T-Hub is fully compatible with Telstra’s broadband networks and fixed line and offers the users a reliable and high-quality service. Besides, it also allows them of support their all contacts on the secure network of Telstra and ensures them not to miss the essential tele-phone numbers.

With touch panel, the latest handsfree phone allows for easy calling and at the same time shows voice messages. The T-Hub comes built-in with the apps and features like mobile phone; such as, Sensis services along with famous websites as YouTube, Facebook and single-touch accessibility to BigPond.

Apart from the conventional attributes of home phone, the T-Hub is also highlighted with the features of an 18cm touchscreen, easy click search, mobile-phone like apps, calendar, notes for family members, alarm clock and important addresses and contact numbers list. The device also doubles as an entertainment hub.

The T-Hub is slated to be made available from April 20 via the majority of T-life stores, select dealers; Telstra Licensed stores as also over and online the phone.
