Often, we can’t afford a walkman and have to end up with an Mp3 player and discontent. But with Sony’s latest Walkman NWZ series, it is possible to own the class and style of walkman at an affordable price tag.

Sony has brought a brand new PMP (portable media players), known as the NWZ-E350 that is a Video-based Mp3 player.

Video MP3 players are all the rage among the college going users, switching over to video players from the MP3 players.

This new Video Mp3 player, as Sony claims, will provide listeners with up to 50 hours of audio playback, while listening to MP3 files of 128 kbps, and 10 hours of video playback, while watching WMV files at 384 kbps. It will support many other file formats for audio like Mp3, AAC (non-DRM), linear PCM & WMA (DRM), but for video, only the WMV (DRM) format is supported.

The Sony NWZ-E350 features “Clear Audio” technology for crystal clear and deep sound without any distortion. It also features SenseME technology that works much more like a media library divided into various music channels and playlists. It provides features such as “Album Scroll” and “Scene Scroll” through a new intuitive user interface, allowing for better and fast content searching.

Besides, Sony has also added a “Bookmark Function” that allows users to create playlists instantly while listening to music from their media library. The NWZ-E350 has Walkman UI. Also, the players offer a battery life of 50 hrs for playing audio files and 10hrs video playback. Of course, you will have to set the Mp3 player configuration likewise.

The Content Transfer Software allows for easy transfer of non-DRM tracks from music library loaded on your PC and iTunes to the device. It’ll be an utter sense of satisfaction with Sony supporting bundled earphones of optimum quality.

The new PMP comes in two avatars, i.e. the NWZ-E353 with 4GB space is priced at $70, while the NWZ-E354 with 8GB space costs about $80. It seems iPod shuffle’s reputation is at risk with two more players R0 by Samsung and 3-Cam Vision by Archos joining in with Sony NWZ-E350 Mp3 players.

The Tablet PC is no longer a style statement, neither a gadget in a geek’s arsenal. The contemporary tablet PCs offer decent power and connectivity features to make it an accessory to the traveling tech-savvy businessman, the high-school student or even the simple Internet users. Apart from checking and composing e-mails, checking pictures, watching movies or playing games such as card games, arcade games and portable games, it can also be used for reading e-books, making notes, listening to music and more.

The latest to join in this league of tablet manufacturers is Blackberry. Rumors say that the new tablet by Blackberry will have a screen of 7-inches. The tablet will also feature both front-facing and rear-facing cameras.

The Blackberry tablet will support Flash and features a Marvell processor, most likely the 1GHz Armada 610 CPU by Marvell. This processor will allow smooth playback of 1080p video content. Also, 3D graphics will be duly supported by the Marvell processor.

Another notable point here is that this processor is a pre-requisite for the 16-mp camera. This means that we can expect each of these attributes in the new tablet by Blackberry. Released some time back, the Blackberry 6 OS will also be featured in this much-talked- about tablet. Blackberry 6 OS will offer enhanced web-surfing solutions to the users and will also account for various features to boost the social networking service.

Most users across the globe are familiar with Adobe’s Flash. With the recent decision by Apple to do away with Adobe Flash in Apple’s iPad, it is likely that users accustomed to it will be disappointed. In such a situation, Blackberry’s tablet would feature Adobe Flash so one can very well guess that the crowd will be in their favor. The integration of Adobe Flash support will gain them a huge customer base all over.

The tentative date for releasing Blackberry tablet in the UK was set in December. But, as of now, no concrete details regarding its launch date, price and availability locations have been released.

RIM tops the charts when it comes to leaders in smartphone manufacturing. Neither Apple nor Nokia has been able to stand against them. So, Blackberry tablet has bright chances owing to RIM’s market share and undisputable position in the market.
