Sony Launches Multi Zoom HX100V and HX9V
Sony has expanded its Cyber-shot H series with two outstanding models that combine the compact style of Sony’s Cyber-shot models with the power of DSLR cameras. The new models dubbed HX100V and HX9V is the ideal product for travelers.
Sony Cyber-shot HX100V Features
Sony Cyber-shot HX100V is the refreshed version of HX1. The upgraded model has several high-end features that were missing in the earlier model. It is endowed with a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar lens. The Zeiss T* coating on the optical surfaces eliminates reflection.
The powerful 30x optical zoom will help you to capture close-ups of distant subjects. Cyber-shot HX100V along with HX9V will be the first Cyber-shot cameras equipped with Exmore R CMOS sensor with 16.2-megapixel effective resolution.
HX100V prevents image distortion produced by camera jerks. The built-in Optical Steady Shot in Active Mode cancels image blurring produced while shooting movies while walking. The three-way shake cancellation feature, which is present in premium Sony Handycam camcorders, will enable even inexperienced photographers to shoot vibrant and clear videos.
You can produce 3D images with the aid of the 3D shooting options loaded in the camera. The 3D Sweep Panorama and 3D Still Image along with Sweep Multi Angle will significantly enhance the quality of your 3D stills and movies. The high-speed AF offers a response time of only 0.1 second. The built-in GPS will help you to geo tag images. Users can adjust zoom and focus with the manual control ring. This feature is best suited for macro photography.
The new Sony H series camera will be available for $449.99.
Sony Cyber-shot HX9V Features
Sony Cyber-shot HX9V is the upgraded version of Cyber-shot HX5V. It features the same 16.2-megapixel Exmore R CMOS sensor as HX100V. Sony has given the lightweight camera a high-performance 24mm G Lens with 16x zoom range. It supports full HD shooting.
You can capture 3D images with the camera. The adverse effect of camera shakes is compensated by the 3-way shake cancellation technology integrated in the Optical SteadyShot image stabilization system. The Background Defocus mode enables DSLR-like shooting. The super auto mode automatically adjusts the settings to produce crisp images regardless of light condition.
Sony Cyber-shot HX9V will cost $349.99.
