The more you tighten your security options, the more the spies devise ways to loosen it and embark upon your sensitive data.
Off late, economic espionage has emerged as an alarming issue for companies and they are seeking solutions which will secure the safety of their sensitive data in a reliable manner. Samsung has introduced a new solution in the form of Common Access Card, which touts to reduce the woes of the company owners to a great extent.
Thanks to Common Access Card that now no unauthorized user of multifunction printers will be able to send critical docs to an unreliable source via these printers. The Common Access Card is a preferable option over the conventional options since it can be installed directly into the multi-function printer’s firmware and, unlike the conventional solutions, doesn’t need the installation of external hardware between the network and multifunction printer.
The Common Access Card which is installed in the multifunction printer calls for LDAP authentication to identify the user.
The Common Access Card is duly approved by Defense Department of the United States. Besides, Common Access Card meets the requirements of HSPD-12 (Homeland Security Presidential Directive), CCC (Common Criteria Certification) and all other vital security protocols.
Samsung vows to uphold all the security credentials while offering multifunction printers to government offices.
