Samsung Unveils Galaxy Fit Mobile Phone

Samsung has introduced an elegant business phone to its popular Galaxy series family. The upcoming smartphone is packed with standard features of Android powered touch screen smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy Fit Features

The processing function of Samsung Galaxy Fit (model number S5670) will be propelled by a 600MHz processor. Although the Samsung Galaxy Fit handset would not match the performance of high-end smartphones equipped with processors with higher clock speed, nonetheless the new Samsung Galaxy model would tackle simple functions conveniently.

Samsung has given Galaxy Fit the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system. The medium sized smartphone, 110mm long, 61mm wide and 13mm thick, features a 3.3-inch QVGA display equipped with multi touch sensors. It supports 240×320 pixels images. Just like other smartphones of the same category, the new Samsung Galaxy Fit will come with accelerometer, proximity sensor and compass.

The built-in 5-megapixel camera of Samsung Galaxy Fit would satisfy shutterbugs with its integrated photography tools such as auto focus, panorama, multi shot and smile detection. You can record QVGA resolution videos at 15fps with the smartphone camera. On the entertainment front, Samsung Galaxy Fit boasts of built-in media player for playing your audio files and videos and FM radio. You can access speedy web browsing over the 3.5G network of your carrier. The Samsung smartphone will run on the quad band GSM and dual band UMTS networks. The built-in A-GPS supports location based services. It would lead you to your destinations.

Samsung Galaxy Fit supports key messaging services. Users could access popular Google services. The Swype powered virtual keyboard will ease typing. The preloaded Samsung Social Hub will help you to communicate with friends and families with utmost ease.

Apps could be easily downloaded from Android Market. Along with 160MB limited storage space, Galaxy Fit will support up to 32GB of external memory expansion through microSD or SDHC card. Bluetooth, high-speed microUSB 2.0, 3.5mm headset jack and Wi-Fi connectivity are other prominent features of Samsung Galaxy Fit.

Price and Availability

Samsung Galaxy Fit is currently available in Russia. Soon it will be available in Europe, India, China and South America. It carries a 320-euro or $438 price tag.
