A storehouse of gaming peripherals, Razer has announced that it will soon release its two more mechanical keyboards – BlackWidow and BlackWidow Ultimate – for avid gamers who are always on the lookout for comfort and tactile feedback.This might sound a bit awkward that the gaming keyboards found in the market today are actually just standard mechanical keyboards, that cause key actuation fatigue due to the presence of stiff keys.

On the other hand, Razer BlackWidow is a mechanical keyboard that’s totally dedicated to and designed for avid gamers who need every key of their keyboard to respond swiftly.

BlackWidow keys ensure better accuracy and precision like that of a mouse click in your tasks. The keyboard requires 50g actuation force. The actuation point is just halfway the 4mm travel distance. 1000Hz Ultra polling results in a response time of 1ms.

The keys in the keyboard require the least actuation force thereby enabling the gamers to type faster than what they could have possibly done on any other mechanical keyboard.

The usual mechanical keyboard does not ensure that the keys have been actuated or not, even after you press multiple times. But with BlackWidow you can be sure of the fast actuation of the keys.

BlackWidow sports keys that are fully programmable that support on-the-fly macro recording. The keyboard has five extra gaming keys,  thus making the keyboard more compatible with demanding games.

The other model called BlackWidow Ultimate is quite similar to the BlackWidow except a few differences. The Ultimate version has individual backlit keys that have lighting feature at five levels. This enables the players to take the accurate steps even in the dark. Apart from that the Ultimate version differs from the BlackWidow in having a 3.5mm audio jack as well as a microphone jack. It also packs USB ports.

The BlackWidow Ultimate measures the same 475 x 171 x 30 and is priced at $129.99. This keyboard too will be launched in the month of September.
