Pioneer outs DreamBook ePad N7 Tablet

Pioneer Computers unveiled their latest tablet PC named as DreamBook ePad N7. The most attractive factor of this tablet PC is its affordable price point and it seems this would keep it going far in a market flooded with tablet PCs at this moment.

DreamBook ePad N7 is powered by the revolutionary nVIDIA TegraII chipset as well as T20 dual-core processor clocking at 1.2GHz and with 1MB L2 cache. Although after the announcement of nVIDIA’s Tegra II chipset, many tablets were expected to hit the market such as Asus Eee Pad and tablet PCs by Toshiba. Since, no one has shown up till now, it is a grand opportunity for Pioneer to create a good stand over the market.

Also, the tablet PC supports ULP GeForce graphics for advanced visuals. DreamBook ePad N7 has storage capacity of 512MB and is also supported by 4GB SSD eMMC module. Further adding to the specification list of DreamBook ePad N7 is the 667MHz DDR2 memory. Also, the tablet PC is based on Android 2.1 platform.

The tablet PC sports a WVGA TFT display with full touchscreen capabilities and measuring 7 inches. The display presents a beautiful amalgamation of 16 million colors. The brightness of the display varies between 60 and 220nits. In addition, the tablet PC sports ambient light sensor that regulates the backlight panel’s brightness on its own.

To deliver an immersive audio experience, DreamBook ePad N7 sports 2 loudspeakers of 0.5W each. The tablet PC also sports an integrated microphone.

For seamless sharing and transfer of data between sources, the DreamBook ePad N7 supports 802.11 b/g WiFi along with Bluetooth 2.1. Further augmenting the wireless connectivity in the tablet PC, there is the UART interface besides the SiP module SDIO.

The tablet PC also features an integrated webcam that supports 1.3MP CMOS sensor. Also, the tablet PC features USB 2.0 port, dock port, HDMI output, 3.5mm audio jack and slot for microSD card.

DreamBook ePad N7 features three-axis accelerometer. The tablet PC derives power from a 2-cell standard Lithium-poly battery that gives a runtime of 10 hours. The facility of AC adapter is also provided in.

DreamBook ePad N7 weighs 465g and measures 208 x 122 x 13.95mm.

DreamBook ePad N7 is currently available and is priced at $499.
