Panasonic Launches LUMIX GH2 For Shooting 3D Videos
Panasonic LUMIX GH2 is the first digital camera in the world to feature interchangeable 3D lens. Even beginners could use the touch control features of the camera to capture 3D images like a pro.
The new member of the LUMIX G Series family of Panasonic flaunts a compact lightweight body with easy to use features. The ergonomic design enables users to hold the camera comfortably while snapping photos and shooting videos.
According Darin Pepple, Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company’s Senior Product Manager, Imaging, “LUMIX GH2 is Panasonic’s most professional-level DSLM camera yet, giving users the option to be more creative than ever, from recording video in full HD with cinematic effects to taking 3D photos with the new lens.”
By combining advanced photography and videography features, Panasonic LUMIX GH2 has evolved into a true hybrid digital camera. This impressive digital camera carries a 16.05 megapixel multi-aspect LIVE MOS sensor that helps users to capture high-resolution images with minimal noise interference.
With the help of a mechanical shutter integrated in the camera, users could capture higher resolution images at a speed of 5 frames per second. Along with the LIVE MOS sensor, Panasonic LUMIX GH2 utilizes the advanced Venus Engine FHD processor for managing multiple signals speedily for capturing high-resolution pictures and for shooting high-definition videos. This latest hybrid digital camera from Panasonic also supports faster AF.
With the help of the world’s first interchangeable 3D lens, Panasonic LUMIX GH2 could capture 3D still images as well as 3D videos. Users could easily handle the 3D lens that has been designed to support 3D shooting without any time lag or distortion. The 3D high-definition videos captures with LUMIX GH2 could be viewed on televisions that support 3D videos.
Panasonic LUMIX GH2 offers 22 shooting modes. The My Color mode for shooting still photos supports seven preset effects. Professional photographers could manually adjust the settings with the help of the Custom mode.
Ten different shooting modes, including the advanced Cinema mode, have been integrated in the HD digital camera for shooting videos. Users could even add shortcut buttons for settings that are used frequently. LUMIX GH2 features a large 3-inch touch sensitive display.
This latest point and shoot Panasonic HD digital camera will be shipped from early December. It will cost between $899 and $1500.
