Cameras from Nikon are famous all across the world and are known for great performance. Priced at around$400 and with a body weight of 17 ounces, this camera carries with it a high scope of experimentation. Photographers and camera enthusiasts will particularly enjoy high speed photography with this bundle of delight that has a Lithium Ion rechargeable battery which is capable of taking up to 250 shots. Videos can be recorded at 30fps and the LCD size is of 3 inches. More or less, it is like the P90, except that the extended 26x zoom now guarantees you better zoom shots. Also, instead of the P90’s 12 megapixel CCD sensor, P100 has a backside illuminated (BSI) 10 megapixel CMOS sensor. The lens barrel gives the user ample space to hold the camera and steady it comfortably with the left hand.

The LCD and the viewfinder are good in this camera. You can take out the LCD from the body and tilt it up and down; however you cannot swing it horizontally from the body. Like all cameras, the screen does blank out after a shot that you take, but the advantage with this camera is that it is relatively fast to recover the picture.

All the control buttons are comfortably placed, and there are up to 5 different kinds of focus modes. Overall, this camera is definitely worth the buy because it offers a lot of features at a great price.
