New Samsung Galaxy S2 Details Available

After the grand success of Samsung Galaxy S, the mobile giant is ready with the launch of Galaxy S2 soon after they showcase the smartphone in the upcoming Mobile World Congress going to be held in Barcelona. Luckily, a few details on this marvel – Samsung Galaxy S2 – have emerged to let the prospective buyers have an opinion about the device prior to the event.

The Galaxy S2 Smartphone made it to the headlines some time ago. The fresh leak regarding the details of the smartphone confirm most of the hardware specs that were out earlier. In addition, a few more specs have been highlighted.

It is expected that the Galaxy S2 smartphone will be adorned with a 4.3-inch screen. However, it is said that Samsung is also testing another device with 4.5-inch screen. Hence, it has become really uncertain as to which among these two devices is actually Galaxy S2. Well, the official release will settle the confusion. It is also expected that Galaxy S2 will run on a dual-core CPU or should it be called the Orion mobile processor, proprietary to Samsung .

In fact, both the smartphones that Samsung is testing currently will run on dual-core CPU. It has been said that one of them would be having 1GHz clock speed while the other will sport 1.2GHz. Again, it becomes really indecisive as to which of the CPUs the Galaxy S2 will sport.

Some other highlights of Galaxy S2 are super-AMOLED display and Gingerbread OS. Galaxy S2 will be a treat to those who love to freeze their special moments. With a standard 8MP camera at the back, the Galaxy S2 will be an incredibly handy way to capture the best moments in your life. It is also said that the 8MP camera will support HD video recording. There will also be a front-facing 1.3MP camera facilitating video calls.

The Galaxy S2 will sport micro-SD card slot that would substantially increase the storage space up to 32GB. Some other highlights of the smartphone include NFC capabilities and 3.5mm audio jack.

Samsung has not made official any of the specification details so far. The best way to confirm these above mentioned specifications would indeed be at the Mobile World Congress and see for yourself.
