MSI is ready with two more notebooks that would be an addition to their 15.6-inch series of notebooks. The MSI P600 and MSI S6000, as the latest notebooks are named, will be launched in the US this week. These highly-compact notebooks ensure power-packed performance and are targeted at the people who need to get their work done even while on the go. Besides, these notebooks will offer ideal multimedia solutions and offer vast business capabilities.

The P600 maintains a weight of 5.3lbs, while the S6000 is slimmer with a 4-cell battery and a weight of 5.0lbs. However, there are hardly any differences in the form factor and the specifications of the two models.

The point to be noted here is that the slim form factor of these notebooks keeps them different from many of the business notebooks.

The main features of the two notebooks include: a Calpella platform by Intel, Core i5 processor by Intel, wide-angle LCD screen, multi-touch enabled trackpad and Color Film Print. The OS and the processor are backed up by the Turbo Boost technology. The P600 model, with an 8-cell battery, gives a battery life of 8 hours at a stretch.

This attribute is 15% better than any other notebook of its sort. Hence, these power-packed devices also ensure longer battery life. All these features clubbed together make the notebooks 30% better than the conventional ones in this class.

Both the P600 and the S6000 models feature an integrated built-in optical drive that falls in the ultra-slim category.
