Expanding its WX series, Motorola has promised to satisfy the mid-range cell phone sector by unveiling six new affordable cell phones. If you care to remember the names of the new members of the Motorola WX family then they are here for you – Moto WX161, Moto WX181, Moto WX260, MotoWX265, Moto WX290 and MotoWX295. All the six new models of the Motorola WX series are entry-level devices sporting basic cell phone features.

Moto WX161

Moto WX161 is a basic Motorola handset, equipped with a 1.3 inches screen. Its sleek and slim candy bar form is equipped with a LED torch. It has an integrated FM radio with RDS to keep you connected to your local FM radio stations.

Moto WX181

Moto WX181 shares several features with the Moto WX161 handset. Its 1.5 inches display is slightly larger than that of Moto WX161. It doubles as a light torch in dark zones. For entertaining Moto WX users, Motorola has integrated a FM radio with RDS in the device.

Moto WX260

While Moto WX161 and WX181 will be amongst the cheapest Motorola handsets with limited functionalities, Motorola WX260 will offer some additional features to its users. The candy bar Moto WX260 handset is a music centric phone. A MP3 music player has been added to this upcoming Motorola handset. It even has a FM antenna to tune into your favorite FM radio station. This Motorola phone supports internet browsing. Music lovers could download personalized ringtones on the Moto WX260 handset. The battery of the phone has sufficient juice to play music continuously for up to eleven hours. Moto WX260 even features Bluetooth support and microSD card slot.

Moto WX265

Moto WX265 shares the technical specifications of Moto WX260 is a stylish clamshell body. It carries music player, FM radio, Bluetooth, WAP browser and microSD memory card slot.

Moto WX290

Although Moto WX290 will cater to the low and mid range market, it will carry features that are more advanced. Digital camera, which was missing in the other Moto WX phones, has been integrated in Moto WX290 handset. MP3 music player, stereo FM radio, WAP 2.0 browser and Bluetooth 2.0 support has made Moto WX290 suitable for wider use.

Moto WX295
