JVC adds DLA-SH7NLG 4K Projector To D-ILA Family

JVC has added another brand-new 10mp 4K DLA-SH7NLG projector to its line-up of D-ILA projectors. Following on the heels of Canon’s six latest projectors, the new offering claims to be an ideal solution for the simulators, museums, medical institutions, hi-spec design and monitoring facilities

On the feature front, the latest DLA-SH7NLG comes included with three 1.27” 4K2K D- ILA display contraptions. It has also been stuffed with 330W ultra-high-pressure mercury lamps, which boast of providing 5,000 ANSI lumens of brightness. Besides, it can, at the same time, project 2 or 4 screens in WUXGA 1,920 x 1,200p resolutions and also has the capability of rendering for simulation environments a low latency mode.

The built-in chassis of the device comes with 4 DVI dual-link input terminals and 3 types of lenses, such as; short-focus. In addition, the wire-grid optical engine of the projector is also said to offer a native contrast ratios of 10,000:1, whereas lamp life could be extended by a low-power mode for up to 3,000 hrs.

Well, the specs sheet of the latest projector has impressed me a lot, but it is still hard to say if the device would be able to stand tall among the other projectors that are also crammed with features and have made a niche in the market with a firm standing.
