For the past few days, FujiFilm has been in news for the release of its brandnew digicam. Earlier the company had come up with FinePix S2800HD digicam packed with 18x zoom 10864-01, and now it has announced the availability of FinePix Z800EXR. Similar to the previously-released feature-packed digicam, the new balso has loads of glaring specs and unique selling points.

The camera features a speedy Hybrid Auto Focus system and a large touchscreen display that steal the show. Plus, the buyers will also be happy to find a number of other goodies in the camera.

Feature wise, the camera has a 3.5-inch LCD and a 12-mp CCD EXR sensor. It also has a 5x optical zoom lens by Fujinon, and reaches up to 1600 ISO levels at full resolution. The device brags of a full-metal chassis and up to 16.9 mm thickness or thinness so that it can easily slide into pocket or purse. The horizontal lens cover features wave detail serving as On/Off switch. Plus, there is the LED ‘Z’ lighting up while the camera is being operated.

The EXR sensor in the camera has Phase Detection pixel CCD incorporated. It helps the camera realize the Hybrid Auto Focus. Owing to this, the camera can intelligently decide between two focusing systems. The Phase Detection Auto Focus system also works faster when a high-contrast thing is placed in the frame’s center.

The enhanced Gyro sensor is a whole new concept to further boost the image stabilization system of the camera. What users get out of it is high-quality images sans any blur effect or noise. It also helps record movies in low-light conditions.

Other than that, the FinePix Z800EXR also sports the Face Recognition technology, EXR Auto technology & motion Panorama 360. The EXR Auto technology abets this camera to switch behavior based on shooting conditions. The shooting conditions can be chosen out of any 3 sensor models.

The 460-k pixel display also allows users to access camera’s numerous functions such as the Touch Shot that allows for easy photo shooting and one-touch focus.

Available to purchase in four vibrant colors such as Black, Gold, Red and Shell Pink, the camera is slated to hit the selves in August 2010 at a price of around $299.95.
