The recent initiative has been taken by LG and Sprint that have joined together to bring in LG Remarq, which is a fresh member to Sprint’s increasing range of environment-friendly devices.

The chic messaging LG Remarq comes included with a fully sliding QWERTY keyboard and is featured with a 1.3mp camera. The device is also packed with an MP3 player that’s consisted of a microSD card slot. Besides featuring wireless technology, Stereo Bluetooth and IM, the new handset also allows the users to be in touch with their near and dear ones with a lot of ease. The users can also easily upload and share their images Photobucket & Facebook.

Kevin Packingham, Sprint senior VP, Product Development, was quoted to have said that LG Remarq allows the eco-conscious users to be in touch with their near and dear ones at a very meager price tag. Sprint still has a leading place in the U.S. wireless industry with company’s pledge to eco-friendly products and initiatives.

Coming dipped in turquoise and silver shades, the latest Remarq has been crafted to take into account the deteriorating conditions of environment. The phone comes packaged in fully recyclable materials, that is; its exterior is made of brown craft paper and about 87 % of post consumer material. The handset tray has been built of 100 % PCM, while the text and images all in-box materials and on the box have been painted with soy ink.

The eco-friendly LG Remarq would be available to grapple at all Sprint retail channels on   May 9 sans of any charge including a 2-yr service contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate and $19.99 instant rebate.

The introduction of eco-friendly products is increasing day by day, but it is hard to say which the best one is and help more improve the environment.
