DPT Unfurls 7-inch Windows Tablets

For the past few months, there have been a gamut of Windows XP-based and Windows 7-based tablets, but, they have not been successful enough to grab the attention of market as was being expected from them. Now, driven by this fact, DPT has announced the roll-out of its two brand-new tablets, which come built-in with 7-inch display.

Of these two tablets, the first one is reported to run on Windows 7 along with 1024 x 600 pixel display, whereas the next one comes built-in with a Windows XP is integrated with a display of 800 x 480 pixel resolution.

On the feature front, the tablet including Windows 7 comes built-in with a multi touch 7-inch display and boasts of a storage capacity of from 8GB to 16GB. The latest tablet also comes integrated with Atom Z5xx series processor and offers up to 1GB RAM. The new device, on the connectivity front, boasts of offering an option of 802.11b/g Wi-Fi. The all-new device is also featured with a SIM card slot, HDMI output as well as an optional 3G module.

Well, the thought of bringing these slate PC’s has been under consideration for year, and are on sale in the market for quite a long time, but, they have been all the rage among just a few PC buffs and specially those who differ from the general public and want to enjoy an amazing viewing experience.

In the reviews, with the advance of technology, no technological products remains immune of high-tech innovations and the designs, functions and features are having a drastic change with the passage to time. The Windows XP-based and Windows 7-based tablets are the latest example of that and have got something different from the others that is why they remain popular among just a few PC buffs. Now the time is not far when the tablets would be offering support for Google Android or Windows CE that are cheaper than the tablets that sprint DOS (desktop operating system) and handles the controls with the help of just mouse and keyboard.
