Will Brown, VP & GM, D-Link Service Provider Business Unit, was quoted to have said that if you’ve your own house, the 3G Door Phone is a just the right communications and security device, which comes in slim design and has got just one button. The only one its kind in the market today, the latest device doubles an outdoor intercom, and enables you to keep an eye on and communicate with the help of your 3G phones from anywhere they are.

The high-tech product also comes built-in with 0.1mp CMOS camera including focus as well. This built-in camera captures the images of those who visit your property and does streaming of the details to the computer or 3G mobile phone. Using it, the owners of the property can also see and talk to the visitors in 3 different ways, such as; snapshot, one-way 3G video and two-way voice call. The 3G Door Phone also allows you to answer or not to answer the call; however, you can still arrest his or her images. The owner is also allowed to dial in distantly to watch the front door.

On being installed, the device serves as a usual doorbell with the exception of the built-in a camera, a 3G card slot, microphone and speaker. The 3G Door Phone, enclosed in IP65 watertight housing, also comes embraced with a LED indicator, which allows the users of the device to be familiar with the functioning of the device, while an illuminated button is said to allow easy and trouble-free visibility if there is darkness.
