The boring black, white and grey will soon become outmoded colors in laptops. Many of the latest introductions in laptops are available in effervescent colors to liven up your workplace or home. The most popular colors in laptops are, pink, green, red, purple, and blue. If you want slightly lighter shades, then go for white, brown, silver or gold. Also, laptops are also available in different shades of black and grey. These are a good choice for people who are wary of buying conspicuous colors in their laptops.

Most of these color laptop styles are aimed at the hip and fashionable segment. Many companies are targeting such laptops at teenagers and the younger generation. Complimenting the color of your laptop with shoes, furniture, walls, and cars is an emerging fad. They are also aimed at office goers who want a break from the monotonous black and grey shades.

The new color laptop introductions are mostly seen in the holiday season or during the summers. Color laptop approach is a good way to increase the demand of mini laptops and notebooks that are priced economically. The colorful trend has become so popular that it is emerging in the tablet pc devices also.  Most of the laptop companies have joined the bandwagon like; Lenovo, Samsung, Toshiba, Dell, Sony, Acer, Asus, and HP. In fact, well known laptop companies like Dell and Sony have a vast range of colored laptops.

The latest pink laptops in the market are; HP Mini 210 notebook, Dell Inspiron R notebooks, Acer Aspire Happy series, etc. Dell Inspiron R notebooks are marketed with a lotus pink façade. Other laptops available in pink color are; Sony Vaio VGN-CS190, MSI PR200 and MSI Wind Netbooks. There are a number of mini laptops also in pink color such as; HP Mini 110-1023NR, HP Pink Chic Mini Laptop and Dell Mini Pink Laptop 1011.

There are many green laptops available too. Acer Aspire Happy series and Sony Vaio C notebooks are among some of the new introductions in green. The Sony Vaio C notebook has an attractive neon green color, while the Acer Aspire laptop is available in a lime green hue. The Dell Studio 1535/1537 series also has green colored models. In addition, purple laptops have become a hot favorite. Acer Aspire Happy series, HP Mini 210 notebook are some new offerings in this color.

Novel hues have been used in some of the latest laptops. The Mini 210 notebook introduced recently by HP is available in gold and red. The Acer Aspire Happy series has a Hawaiian blue color shade in its colorful set. The Sony Vaio laptops are available in a multitude of alluring hues, such as purple, pink, green, red and blue. The latest addition – Sony Vaio C notebook, also has a neon orange façade. Samsung’s R30 and R80 range are now available in very attractive colors. Innovative hues in the new IdeaPad U260 are; clemetine orange and mocha brown.

The color laptop trend has been adopted by many companies and laptop brands. The Dell Inspiron R notebooks are also getting very inventive with their color scheme. These laptops are available in more than 25 different colors. In addition, the laptops are also beautified with many new designs.

One very attractive color in the Dell Inspiron R range is tomato red. Other colors in this line of laptops are midnight blue, spring green, sunshine yellow and ruby red. This company is also getting creative with its black colored laptops, mars black is one hot new hue in this line.

The XPS line by Dell also has alluring colors, such as flamingo pink, tuxedo black, alpine white and midnight blue. The higher XPS gaming system by Dell has hues like smoke grey, crimson red, bone white, and sapphire blue. Alienware laptops by Dell are also marketed in eye-catching hues. The color laptop by this company are usually marketed as a gaming device, hence the colorful appeal suits the brand. Most of the colored laptops by this company have a glossy finish and are finger print resistant that helps keep them clean all the time.

Red color laptop – is another trend that is catching up. The Alienware M17x R2 is available in nebula red color, the Dell Studio 1645 in merlot red, while the Sony Vaio VGN-CS290 has a magnetic candy apple red. Other red color laptops are; Dell XPS M1330, Gateway Red LT2030u, Toshiba Satellite L655-S5106RD, and Gateway M-6842.

Blue color laptop is also a good option for people who desire a change but do not want very loud colors. Some cool laptops available in shades of blue are; Acer 8920G, Alienware m9700, and Dell Inspiron 1318 which have gemstone blue, conspiracy blue, and pacific blue colors respectively. Other laptops in blue tones are Acer Aspire One ZG5, Acer AOD250 and Gateway M-7317u.

There are many other colored laptops in the market. Very few laptops are yellow colored; Asus VX Series is one such model. The Apple iBook Laptop has a nice orange color. Some of the striking tints offered by Sony Vaio brand are; blazing red, indigo blue, pure white, aroma black, and beauty pink. Sony Vaio EA Series Signature Collection has hues like Arabesque Black and Arabesque Gold. The company has a collection of laptops in coconut white color also. The Lava Black and Gunmetal Black colors in Sony Vaio are favorite with men. Sony Vaio has a wide selection of laptops in bright colors like pink and purple for women also. Some well known shades are Hibiscus Pink, Passion Purple, and Bordeaux Red. The Iridescent Blue is liked by men and women equally.

Many companies are designing laptops with attractive patterns. Apple has upgraded it colors and style scheme. The most recent offerings are in white muted tints with an aluminum finish. Asus has come up with even more innovative colors and patterns on their laptop chassis. It has a line of bamboo paneled laptops, the U43F notebook. Samsung’s sliding 7 series hybrid notebook has an appealing all new blue colored keyboard. The Sony Vaio laptops not only have bright colors, but a number of them feature attractive LED lighting also.
