Angry Birds And Other Must Have Games Coming On Windows Phone 7

There’s good news for proud owners of Windows Phone 7. If you are a mobile games enthusiast you would love to know that six Must Have Games, including the popular Angry Birds will hit the Windows Phone Marketplace on 6 April.

To increase the demand of the latest and the most advanced operating system in Microsoft’s software portfolio, the Seattle based Software giant has launched the ‘Must Have Games’ program for smartphones built on the latest Windows mobile platform with built-in Xbox Live.

Angry Birds, created by game maker Rovio, is currently on an expansion spree. Earlier this year, the popular game app was released for PSP and PlayStation 3. Sometime later this year, Angry Birds will be available on Nintendo 3DS and Wii. Although Microsoft has not yet announced the pricing of the Must Have Game, they must keep it quite low to match the pricing of the Angry Birds apps on Apple App Store where it is available only for $0.99.

Angry Birds is a superb application where the gamer must demolish castles of green pigs, the enemies of the angry birds.

The other games that will soon arrive on Windows Phone 7 include Hydro Thunder Go, Plants vs. Zombies, Sonic the Hedgehog 4, geoDefense and Doodle Jump.

Hydro Thunder Go is the revamped version of the classic arcade racer. With a powerboat, the gamer must compete against fifteen competitors. The rapidly changing conditions of the water will force you to change your racing tactics frequently.

Plants vs. Zombie tests the gardening power of the gamer. And remember that you are no ordinary gardener who could work at his/her leisure. With limited supply of seeds and greens who must combat zombies, fog and sun to meet your target.

Gamers who have tested their skills with Sonic and Knuckles, would appreciate Sonic the Hedgehog 4. The battle between Sonic and Dr. Eggman is lifted to a new height with this new game on Windows Phone 7.

GeoDefense is a powerful tower defense game. You will get an opportunity to boast of your gaming skills with missiles, lasers and blasters.

Doodle Jump will keep you engaged for hours. You will encounter challenges of different levels while leaping from one platform to another.
