Acer’s Revo RL100 Nettop Comes Packed Full of Surprises
Hardly two years have passed and Acer is ready with their new addition to the Aspire Revo series of nettops. The new nettop, known as Revo RL100, has seen quite a huge response among the tech savvy crowd because of ION, which again has triggered the release of many more nettops packed with ION.
But one more surprise that the Revo RL100 presents is the AMD Athlon II Neo CPU. Besides sporting a compact from factor and graceful chassis, Revo RL100 packs some of the most vital features for a high performance computing device. These features subsume 2GB RAM, 8x DVD burner, 802.11n WiFi connectivity and 160GB HDD, along with the powerful blend of AMD Athlon II Neo K325 CPU clocking at 1.3GHz and nVIDIA ION GPU.
In addition, the Revo RL100 sports Revo Pad (wireless remote control), which is a square slab that packs a number of illuminated keys that are sensitive to human touch. It packs in volume control and multi-touch trackpad.

Revo RL100 packs in 3x USB 2.0 ports, S/PDIF and HDMI output. Besides, the nettop is based on 64-bit Windows 7 OS (Home Premium).
Revo RL100 boasts of 3.9 WEI score, which is better than the average base score of 3.0. This means that users will experience better performance even during resource-intensive tasks.
