After the success of the Aspire series of netbooks, Acer has recently unveiled the new Aspire series of notebooks. These notebooks too, like their netbook counterparts, boast of improved performance, advanced features and chic design at a pocket-friendly price point.

The Acer Aspire series of notebooks will derive power from Core i3 and i5 CPUs ensuring an altogether new and comfortable computing experience. The notebooks boast of 4GB DDR3 memory and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi connectivity. Connectivity is also offered through Ethernet LAN. Users who need to connect to family and friends online, i.e. via e-mail or through social networking sites will be utterly benefited by the wireless connectivity on the go.

From staying online to enjoying multimedia content and playing games, these notebooks support them all.

The Aspire notebooks also sport 1.3MP camera with CrystalEye technology. This feature ensures seamless streaming of videos. The CrystalEye technology also ensures that your true picture is cast while you are on a video conferencing or video chat. To further augment it, the CrystalEye technology ensures optimum quality images even under strict lighting conditions.

The microphone reduces background noise and carves out best quality audio. The integrated speakers ensure HD audio quality while watching movies, playing games and listening to music.

The Aspire notebooks sport widescreen displays with LED backlighting technology and CineCrystal technology. The display has an aspect ratio of 16:9 that offers a clear view to the users. Also, the models in this series will sport varied size of displays ranging between 15.6 inches and 17.3 inches.

The Aspire notebooks boast of both Intel HD Graphics and ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470 GPU. The graphics card allows you to smoothly play even the most demanding games and offers a cinematic experience while watching movies.

Because of the presence of HDMI output in the notebooks, you can connect them to a HDTV and enjoy your movie.

Talking about the design, the notebooks feature smooth surface and rounded edges. The mesh cover is adorned with the classic colors – Silver and Black.

In addition, these notebooks feature some useful applications such as MyBackUp that ensures security of your data. With the help of this, users can prepare a backup of important documents to an external HDD or USB drive.

These notebooks will feature eSATA HDDs of capacity of 320GB or 640GB. Some models in this series will also feature Blu-ray drives for ultimate cinematic experience.

The models in the Aspire series will be priced in a range between $589.99 and $799.99.
