To start off this tug on war between I-Pod Touch vs I-Phone vs I-Pad, we can call I-PAD as a bigger size I-PHONE or I-pod touch. Though, we know that I-PAD lies between smart-phone and laptop which is famously called as tablet PC, which should not be compared with i-phone and i-pod touch, Let us see some of the similarities and dissimilarities between these three, so that we could know how worth it is.

To start off with a shocking and surprising feature,

• The starting price of iPad would be just $499 for a 16GB, Wi-Fi model which is the same price of a 32GB iPod touch two years ago, it is just $200 more than the current 32GB ipod touch, despite having a much larger screen of a 9.7-inch LCD screen , 9.56 inches height, 7.47 inches width, and even more faster in surfing, e-mailing and movie watching etc.

• i-pad and ipod touch does not have built in video camera, which is present in iphone.

• Another independent feature here is that i-pad is not locked under any contracts just like i-phone where we have to sign a 2 years contract with AT&T. The new ipad is available with prepaid, without contract, and with an unlocked 3G model.

• A sensational feature which disappoints iphone and ipod touch users on every launch of newer version is the external keyboard support which is present in ipad.where we can attach i-pad with the external keyboard and can use it just like a PC.

• Another superb feature of ipad is the i-work in which we can work with word, excel and powerpoint files which is not present in iphone and ipod touch.

Thus, get some peace of mind upon this Great War and make a wise decision, to buy or not to buy the soon to be released ipad. I really do like to buy the new iPad, which looks excellent with all surfing, e-mailing, and movie-watching features. However, when the coin the tossed, the drawbacks are obviously seen. In this first generation I-pad, I don’t prefer to opt for the first-generation iPad which lacks with basic essential features such as video camera, chat tool and lack of Flash support too, which means to wait for the next generation ipad!!!
